Hubungan Penguasa Nusantara (Perspektif Historiografi Melayu Tradisional)

Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan sosial, ekonomi, politik, agama, dan budaya antar penguasa di Nusantara melalui perspektif historiografi Melayu tradisional. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengungkap dinamika kekuasaan yang terjalin melalui perkawinan, perdagangan, diplomasi, dan konflik sebagai strategi memperkuat pengaruh regional. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) serta teknik hermeneutik untuk mengkaji pola hubungan sosial, ekonomi, politik, agama, dan budaya yang tergambar dalam karya historiografi tradisional Melayu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ikatan kekerabatan, seperti perkawinan antar keluarga kerajaan, memainkan peran penting dalam membangun aliansi strategis dan legitimasi kekuasaan. Hubungan ekonomi ditandai oleh perdagangan lintas wilayah yang memperkuat integrasi antar kerajaan, tetapi juga memicu persaingan dan konflik terkait kontrol jalur dagang. Dari aspek politik, hubungan ini mencakup ekspansi wilayah, penyerahan upeti, dan pengkhianatan yang memperlihatkan dinamika antara kerja sama dan rivalitas kekuasaan. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti peran agama dan budaya sebagai sarana integrasi melalui penyebaran Islam dan adat-istiadat yang memperkuat identitas kolektif. Temuan ini memperkaya kajian sosiologi sastra dalam memahami bagaimana narasi sejarah membentuk struktur kekuasaan dan identitas sosial di Nusantara.
