Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kekerabatan mutan ke-4 padi beras merah (Inpago Unram 1) dan padi beras hitam (Baas Selem) berdasarkan karakter morfologi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret 2023 hingga November 2023 yang bertempat di Desa Saribaye, Kecamatan Lingsar, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Provinsi NTB. Penelitian disusun mengguanakan pola Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 20 perlakuan (10 perlakuan mutan padi Inpago Unram 1 dan 10 perlakuan mutan padi Baas Selem) dan memiliki 3 ulangan sehingga terdapat 30 unit petak percobaan. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari karakter tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah anakan produktif (anakan), jumlah anakan total (anakan), panjang malai (cm), jumlah gabah berisi per malai (butir), jumlah gabah hampa per malai (butir), berat 100 butir (g) dan berat gabah per rumpun (g). Nilai rerata setiap variabel yang diamati, dihitung dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis Cluster Dendrogram berdasarkan jarak Euclidean dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS, kemudian diuji lanjut menggunakan perhitungan persentase similaritas, korelasi, analisis keragaman Anova dan uji lanjut DMRT pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan kekerabatan pada mutan ke-4 padi beras merah (Inpago Unram 1) dan padi beras hitam (Baas Selem) berdasarkan karakter morfologi yang tergolong jauh dengan persentase kemiripan 6,2%-6,4%.
This research aims to determine the relationship between the 4 mutants of red rice (Inpago Unram 1) and black rice (Baas Selem) based on morphological characters. This research was carried out from March 2023 to November 2023 at Saribaye village, Lingsar subdistrict, West Lombok district, NTB province. The research was structured using a Randomized Block Design pattern consisting of 20 treatments (10 treatments of the Inpago Unram 1 rice mutant and 10 treatments of the Baas Selem rice mutant) and had 3 replications so that there were 30 experimental plot units. The research variables consisted of plant height (cm), number of productive tillers (tillers), total number of tillers (tillers), panicle length (cm), number of filled grains per panicle (grain), number of empty grains per panicle (grain), weight 100 grains (g) and weight of grain per hill (g). The mean value of each observed variable was calculated and analyzed using Cluster Dendrogram analysis based on Euclidean distance using the SPSS application, then tested further using similarity percentage calculations, correlation, Anova diversity analysis and the DMRT further test at the 5% level. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between the 4th mutant of red rice (Inpago Unram 1) and black rice (Baas Selem) based on morphological characters which are relatively distant with a similarity percentage of 6.2% -6.4%.
