Analisis Penggunaan Ragam Media Pembelajaran Biologi Di SMA Negeri 2 Palopo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ragam media yang digunakan guru mata pelajaran biologi di SMA Negeri 2 Palopo dan mengetahui kendala-kendala guru dalam menyiapkan dan menggunakan media pembelajaran biologi di S MA Negeri 2 Palopo. Jen is penelitian yang digunakan adalah observa si. Peneliti melakukan obsservasi terhadap guru mata pelajaran biologi melalui wawancara un uk mendapatkan informasi kendala guru dalam penggunaan media pe mbelajaran. Observasi selanjutnya dilakukan pada siswa melalui penngisisan angket yang telah disediakan oleh peneliti untuk mendapatkan informasi ragam media pemb elajaran biologi yang digunakan oleh guru selama proses pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data has il observasi dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif, hasil wawancara dan angket yang dibagikan kepada siswa diinterpretasikan oleh peneliti secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitia n menunjukkan bahwa salah satu kendala guru mata pelajaran biologi dalam penggunaan media selama proses pembelajaran adalah menjaga fokus siswa, karena siswa cenderung hanya tertarik pada gam bar dan videonya saja sed angkan jika yang ditampilkan melalui media itu berupa tulisan fok us siswa akan berkurang. Adapun ragam media yang digunakan gur u mata pelajaran biologi berdasarkan hasil angket yang dibagikan san gat bervariatif, diantaranya media g ambar, alat peraga, de monstrasi, video, dan power point. Salah satu media yang menjadi fok us penelitian tidak mendapatkan respon positif dari responden ada lah media audio.
