Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Ex Post Facto.Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh perhatian orang tua dan gaya belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar biologi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Palopo tahun ajaran 2018/2019.Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 71 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan gaya belajar serta tes tertulis materi sistem reproduksi untuk hasil belajar biologi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistika inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh data bahwa gaya belajar dikategorikan tinggi dengar skor rata-rata 65,86 dan standar deviasi sebesar 3,292 dari skor ideal 80. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar dikategorikan sangat tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 85,83 dan standar deviasi 3,304 dari skor ideal 100. Dari hasil diatas, maka dapat disimpulkan gaya belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar biologi kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Palopo.
