Analisis Semantik dan Budaya dalam Lirik Lagu ‘Les Champs-Élysées’

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis makna semantik dan mengidentifikasi unsur-unsur budaya yang tercermin dalam lirik lagu ‘Les Champs-Élysées’ yang diciptakan oleh Mike Wilsh dan Claude François, serta dipopulerkan oleh Joe Dassin pada tahun 1969. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan teori semantik dari Leech (1981) serta teori kebudayaan dari Koentjaraningrat (1985). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis dokumen dan analisis konten. Data yang dianalisis berupa lirik lagu "Les Champs-Élysées" dalam bahasa Prancis. Proses analisis mencakup identifikasi jenis makna semantik dan unsur budaya yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu ini didominasi oleh makna denotatif, konotatif, sosial, dan afektif, yang menggambarkan kehidupan sosial dan budaya di Paris. Selain itu, lirik lagu ini mencerminkan berbagai unsur budaya, seperti gaya hidup, seni, dan kebebasan, yang merupakan bagian dari identitas masyarakat Prancis. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa lirik lagu tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pembelajaran bahasa dan budaya.
