Bentuk dan Fungsi Pantun Atui; Sebuah Kajian Pantun Melayu Klasik

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk dan fungsi pantun atui yang ada dalam masyarakat Kampar-Riau Indonesia. Pantun atui merupakan warisan budaya masyarakat Kampar Riau yang sudah terancam punah seiring dengan perubahan zaman. Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bentuk dari pantun atui yang dilihat dari segi tipografi, rima, asonansi, aliterasi, diksi, imaji, gaya bahasa serta fungsi atau penggunaan pantun atui dalam kehidupan masyarakat Kampar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan strategi analisis dokumen dan fenomenologi. Melalui strategi analisis dokumen penelitian ini menganalisis teks pantun atui dari segi bentuk pantun atui dari segi tipografi, rima, asonansi, dan alterasi). Melalui strategi fenomenologi penelitian ini menganalisis penggunaan atau fungsi pantun atui masyarakat Kampar Riau. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pantun atui memiliki keindahan bentuk dan unik yang dapat ditinjau dari tipografi yaitu berdasarkan jumlah baris, rima atau persajakan, asonansi, aliterasi, diksi, imaji dan gaya bahasa. Berdasarkan fungsinya pantui atui sebagai alat ekspresi diri dan sekaligus menjadi sarana edukatif dalam memberika nasihat terutama yang berhubungan dengan ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru dalam kajian pantun dan pantun Melayu Klasik serta pelestarian warisan budaya takbenda yang berupa pantun sehingga bisa menjadi tetap lestari.
