Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Discovery Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Dan Komonikasi Matematis Siswa Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Pitumpanua Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Sample penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan Pretes dan Postes. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komonikasi matematis dengan instrumen berbentuk essay. Analisis data penelitian ini dengan rata-rata gain untuk Pemecahan Masalah (PM)=0,50 dan untuk Komonikasi Matematis (KM) = 0,54. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komonikasi matematis siswa.
