Abstract

 

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media animasi pembelajaran matematika dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Patumbak tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas VIII 1. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui lembar observasi dan angket menunjukkan bahwa media animasi pembelajaran matematika valid dengan kevalidan 92,25%, praktis dengan persentase respon guru 90,27% dan siswa 92,13%, serta efektif dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 90%, efektivitas pembelajaran 91,4%, dan peningkatan motivasi siswa 84,50%. Analisis gain sebesar 0,59 menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada kategori sedang. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa media animasi pembelajaran dapat membantu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
