Kontribusi Artificial Intelligence dalam Peningkatan Kemampuan Komunikasi, Presentasi, dan Diskusi Siswa

Urgensi peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi, presentasi, dan diskusi siswa menjadi krusial dalam pendidikan abad ke-21, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di Indonesia yang masih menghadapi tantangan literasi ilmiah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam mengembangkan keterampilan tersebut melalui pendekatan mixed-method dengan desain sequential explanatory. Tahap kuantitatif dilakukan melalui eksperimen kuasi (pretest-posttest control group), dilanjutkan tahap kualitatif berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan analisis artefak pembelajaran. Studi ini dilaksanakan selama satu semester akademik pada 480 siswa di lima sekolah di Tulungagung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi sebesar 34,7%, keterampilan presentasi sebesar 41,2%, dan kualitas diskusi sebesar 37,5% dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran bahwa AI mampu mempersonalisasi pembelajaran, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, dan memperkaya interaksi diskusi, meskipun tantangan seperti kesenjangan digital dan isu privasi perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini menawarkan model inovatif pembelajaran IPAS berbasis AI untuk mendorong pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 secara adaptif dan personal.
