Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi instrumen asesmen menulis karya ilmiah dengan PJBL untuk siswa kelas XI SMA. Penelitian ini mengguakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Data dipaparkan sesuai fokus penelitian meliputi pemaparan (1) instrumen asesmen pada keterampilan menulis karya ilmiah pada siswa kelas XI SMA, (2) Pembelajaran menulis karya ilmiah berupa artikel hasil penelitian didalam suat pembelajaran penulisan karya ilmiah, dan (3) kendala yang dihadapi siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran penulisan karya ilmiah. Sumber data diperoleh dari guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bentuk implementasi instrumen asesmen menulis karya ilmiah dengan PJBL untuk siswa kelas XI SMA untuk meningkatkan kualitas tulisan siswa disertai pemaparan kendala impelemtasi materi karya ilmiah.
