Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi hasil belajar matematika pada kelas VIIA of SMPN 2 Liliriaja Soppeng yang tujuan utamanya memperoleh penerapan metode pembelajaran Play Answer. Secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja Kab. Soppeng dapat meningkat setelah diterapkan metode pembelajaran Play Answer. Penelitian ini berlangsung selama dua siklus yang subjek penelitiannya adalah kelas VIIA of SMPN 2 Liliriaja in Soppeng yang terdiri atas 32 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 adalah 58.50 dan pada siklus 2 yaitu 74.13. Artinya adalah hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIIA SMP Negeri 2 Liliriaja Kab. Soppeng meningkat setelah diterapkan metode pembelajaran Play Answer. Peningkatan tersebut di sebabkan oleh metode yang diterapkan meningkatkan keaktivan siswa yang berakibat pada meningkatnya hasil belajar.
