Penanaman nilai karakter cinta tanah air yang signifikan dalam mewujudkan kemajuan suatu bangsa dapat dilakukan secara efektif di sekolah melalui permainan tradisional Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi kemudian data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional Cublak-cublak suweng yang diimplementasikan di kelompok bermain ternyata dapat menumbuhkan karakter cinta tanah pada pendidikan anak usia dini yang memang pembelajarannya berbasis permainan. Cublak-cublak suweng terbukti membawa dampak pada anak usia dini. Hal ini bisa dilihat pada aspek karakter cinta tanah air yang meliputi: mencintai budaya dan tradisi daerah; bangga dengan produk dalam negeri; menjaga persatuan dan kesatuan negara; peserta didik mengenal siapa dirinya dan dari mana asalnya.
