Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequuivalen control group design yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran generatif dan model pembelajaran konvensional. Satuan eksperimen penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Palopo yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga terpilih dua kelas. Kelas eksperimen yaitu kelas VII B di ajar dengan model pembelajaran generatif dan kelas kontrol di ajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri atas data kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Palopo sebelum di ajar dengan model pembelajaran generatif dan model pembelajaran konvensional berada pada kategori sangat rendah (2) Kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Palopo setelah diajar dengan model pembelajaran generatif dan model pembelajaran konvensional berada pada kategori tinggi (3) Kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran generatif lebih baik daripada yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.
